Find out why your
page loses visitors.

Paste your URL. You get back a report that reads your page like a first-time visitor from Google: where they hesitate, where they leave, and the exact headlines and buttons to rewrite so they stay.

For founders and marketers who pay for traffic and can't tell why it doesn't convert.

Free. No signup, no email. Your report is private, and only you get the link.

See it work

Watch it read a page like a stranger would.

It opens the page, reads every line, and scores what a first-time visitor actually sees. Here it is on a sample site.

Step 2 A real browser visits

It scrolls your whole page, reads every line, and clicks the buttons, then records exactly where each one lands.

What gets scored

What a visitor decides in the first five seconds.

Your page is scored on 11 things a visitor reacts to, using rules from published UX and conversion research (Nielsen Norman, Baymard, Cialdini, WCAG, Core Web Vitals). Three of them do most of the damage.

5s
01First impression
What does a visitor understand in five seconds?

Whether the headline says what you do, whether the pitch is about the customer or about you, and whether the main button shows before anyone scrolls.

02Conversion path
What stops them from acting?

Every button gets clicked and the destination recorded word for word. Sign-in walls, dead ends, and pages that don't match the promise all show up here, next to your missing trust signals.

"leverage synergistic solutions"
↓ rewrite
"software that saves you hours"
03Copy and design
Does any of it persuade a buyer?

Jargon your visitors don't know, features that never turn into a benefit, weak typography and layout, and the questions a buyer needs answered before they'll pay.

The deliverable

What every report covers.

Whatever your page sells, the report comes back with the same parts.

01
An overall score, out of ten

A grade from Struggling to Strong, plus a score on each of the 11 things a visitor reacts to.

02
The brutal truth

One honest paragraph on the single biggest reason the page loses people, in plain words.

03
Your three highest-impact fixes

Ranked by what moves conversions most, not a long list of everything that could change.

04
Every button, and where it goes

Each CTA clicked and its destination quoted, so a "Start free" that lands on a login screen shows up.

05
Screenshots, desktop and mobile

The exact spots a first-time visitor gets stuck, marked on your real page.

06
Your copy, rewritten

Weak headlines and buttons swapped for specific lines you can paste in. Save the whole report to PDF.

07
The ideal page structure

An ordered, top-to-bottom blueprint of the sections your page should have, built from what you sell, so you know what to keep, move, add, or cut.

08
A cited verdict on every dimension

All 11 dimensions scored one at a time, each naming the principles it passes or fails, cited to NN/g, Baymard, and WCAG.

09
What you're already getting right

The parts worth protecting, so a redesign doesn't throw out what already works.

Fixed something? Re-audit the new version and coldeye gives you a blind before-and-after verdict, so you know the change actually helped instead of just nudging a score that drifts on its own.

Straight answers

Before you ask

Can I trust the verdict?

Every claim in a report quotes what the browser actually saw or clicked. Nothing is invented, and the scoring follows published UX and conversion research rather than opinion. If you want to check the method, the benchmark and raw judge notes are public.

Why not Hotjar, Clarity, or PageSpeed?

Those watch the visitors you already have, or measure speed. This one plays the visitor you haven't won yet, before you spend on traffic, and rewrites the copy that's turning them away.

Why not a human CRO consultant?

Use one once you have traffic worth testing and weeks to spend. This is the pass that comes first: a cold read of the exact page a stranger sees, back within a day, with the copy already rewritten.

Is my report private?

Yes. Only you get the link, and it's marked so search engines won't index it. An audit only opens pages any visitor can already reach, and this site sets no trackers and takes no email. The example reports on this page are ones we ran and chose to publish, never anyone's private submission.

When does my audit run?

It's queued when you submit and usually finishes within a day. Your private link goes live the moment it's done.
